end of life pet sessions

A heartfelt thank you to my incredible clients who helped me name my special pet session offering: the Legacy Session. This session is designed to honour the legacy of your beloved pup, providing a space for a meaningful dog memorial session. Our time with our pets is heartbreakingly limited, and it’s so important to cherish every moment we have with them. As pet owners, we all face the difficult decision of saying goodbye one day. If you’re fortunate to know when that time is approaching, I invite you to come together for a session that captures and immortalizes the love you share. 

what is a legacy session?

Above all, my goal is to ensure your pup feels welcomed, comfortable, and relaxed throughout the session, no matter their needs or condition. For this reason, I’m happy to offer home calls or travel beyond my East York area, depending on the timing and date. I do everything I can to schedule these sessions as quickly as possible, as I understand how sensitive and urgent they often are. 

where can we have this session?

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard, "I wish we found you sooner when we had to say goodbye to our beloved pet.” While it’s bittersweet that these sessions are becoming more common, I’m deeply honoured to provide a way for you to always keep a piece of your pet’s spirit with you. It’s a reminder that they’ll always be a part of your story and your heart.

When it’s time to say goodbye, I understand these sessions can be deeply emotional. They may also come with unique challenges, such as physical limitations or stress for your pup during this difficult period. To make things easier, I offer the flexibility of visiting your home or locations within 30 km of East York. For special requests, I can sometimes accommodate longer distances depending on my schedule. Studio options are also available at an additional cost.

gifted sessions

These session types are some of the most requested as gifts from thoughtful friends and family. I understand that during challenging times, it can be hard to prioritize or even think about what needs to be done. Thankfully, there are incredible people who step in, wanting to support their loved ones by gifting them these meaningful sessions. 

what if our situation takes a turn and there is no longer a need for the session?

If you find yourself in the midst of saying goodbye and aren’t able to proceed with your scheduled session, please know that, like all my sessions, they are nonrefundable. However, everything can be rescheduled or postponed to a later time that feels right for you.  

I offer flexibility with session types, so the session you’ve selected can be transformed to fit whatever chapter of life you’re in when the time comes. Whether it’s a family session, maternity shoot, newborn session, or another meaningful moment, we can adjust to ensure it suits your needs.
