Some days stick with you long after the camera is packed away — and Misha and Tim’s wedding was exactly that kind of day.

From the moment I arrived at Farmhill Weddings (one of my absolute favourite venues), there was this feeling — this undeniable atmosphere of deep love, abundant joy, and heartfelt connection. It was more than just a celebration of two people coming together. It was a true gathering of community, family, faith, and generations of love, all wrapped into one beautiful summer day.

What struck me the most was the presence of something so grounding and pure: faith. Misha and Tim’s families hold such a beautiful relationship with God, and witnessing how central that was to their ceremony was moving beyond words. In one of the most touching moments of the day, Tim’s father — a pastor — officiated their ceremony and married his own son. I honestly don’t know if I’ve seen anything more sacred. His words were full of wisdom, love, and celebration. It was clear this wasn’t just a formality, but a deeply spiritual moment for everyone involved.

As Misha and Tim prepare to move in together for the first time as husband and wife, you could feel the anticipation — not just for a wedding, but for the beginning of a life. And watching them take that first step with so many loving hands cheering them on was such a privilege to witness.

Farmhill Weddings, as always, gave us a little magic — golden light, kind hearts, and yes… alpacas. The alpacas did eventually warm up to us for portraits (truly a core memory), and one particularly bold goat decided to crash the moment looking for snacks. It’s hard not to smile in a place like this, where even the animals feel like guests. And with the skies completely clear, I was able to capture some stunning drone shots that made this film all the more special.

There were so many heartfelt speeches from their parents, siblings, and beloved pastors — each one offering prayers, blessings, and words that stayed with you long after they were spoken. There was a moment where the entire room raised their hands in prayer, surrounding Misha and Tim with this circle of love and support that brought tears to my eyes behind the camera.

It was a wedding where you didn’t just hear the joy — you felt it in the air, in the hugs, in the songs, in the way the evening light hit their faces during golden hour. I truly believe this video holds a piece of that magic, and I hope it allows Misha and Tim to relive every scent, sound, and sacred moment of their day.

To Misha and Tim — congratulations again. I was deeply honoured to capture this story, and I’m so excited for all that’s ahead in your life together. May this new chapter be filled with just as much laughter, faith, and love as your wedding day was.

A bold little guest made an appearance during Misha and Tim’s portraits — stealing hearts and maybe a few snacks too. 🐐💍 This is what Farmhill Weddings is all about: joy, connection, and the most unexpected little moments.
