With my husband standing by Dave\u2019s side in the wedding party, and knowing almost every single person on the guest list, it felt like I was part of a big family reunion\u2026 with a really amazing dress code. It was truly the best of both worlds\u2014celebrating with people I love and doing what I love. Next to my own wedding day, Amanda and Dave\u2019s celebration easily goes down as one of my favourites of all time.\n\nBeing in a place in my business where I can take on a full wedding day with one of my closest friends (and an incredible photographer) Jesseka Melanie? That\u2019s the dream. Jesseka, shout out\u2014you\u2019re a queen, and I could not have done this day without you. There aren\u2019t many times in life where you get to offer your best friends a full wedding photo + video experience and fully soak in the joy of the day. I was on cloud nine from start to finish.\n\nAmanda has always been the visionary in our friend group. When it came to her wedding day, I just knew it would be something magical\u2014and she didn\u2019t disappoint. From the meaningful touches like tarot cards during getting ready, to the second outfit (yes, there was a sparkly number involved!), to the curated table decor that reflected her and Dave\u2019s style perfectly\u2014everything was intentional and beautiful.\n\nWhat made the day even more incredible was the people behind it. Amanda had one of the best wedding teams supporting her, and the love surrounding them was just\u2026 palpable. A huge part of that love comes from both of their families' shared bond with music. Amanda\u2019s dad, a talented working musician, and Dave, our beloved drummer friend, hit the stage later in the night for a full-on rock concert under the stars. It was electric.\n\nBut the moment that got me? Amanda\u2019s dad playing on Dave\u2019s late father\u2019s guitar during the ceremony while they signed their wedding license. It was raw, emotional, and absolutely unforgettable. I\u2019ll never forget that.\n\nAnd let\u2019s talk about Farm Hill Estates. What. A. Venue. It brought such a calm, welcoming energy to the whole day. The space was stunning, the team was incredible, and bonus: there were alpacas to pet. Need I say more?\n\nNo rain in sight, great music, heartfelt moments, and two people I adore more than words can say. Amanda and Dave, thank you for trusting me to document this part of your love story. It was an honour.
